Rom 1: 16 - 17 The Gospel of Jesus Christ, has divine power to change people.

When we are young we are given the bible stories from our Sunday school teachers. To many of us they just remain stories and when we grow up and out of home we forget them. The birth of Christ becomes Christmas tree celebration with gifts and toys for our loved one. His death and resurrection is an easter egg celebration. Our knowledge that we received remains infertile knowledge.

The gospel of Jesus Christ has Divine power. The power to take the worst sinner on this earth and reconcile them to God. My daughter and son returned from boarding school I had always shared Christ with them but never gone into depths about from where I had really been saved from. During the week I shared my testimony with you on face book and this opened the door for my children that I could share with them the Divine power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My children have known me since they were born. They were not aware of the past that God had saved me from. Just before writing that piece on my testimony and on how victory could be obtained. My daughter told me that she had a "oral" at school. She had to write and talk about the person who has made the most impact on her life - her role model. She asked me whether I mind if she spoke about me. Dear friends I have nothing to brag about except this. The Gospel had Divine power in my life and had changed me to such an extent my children had no idea of the person I had been. When Christ Jesus went to the cross he took with him my sins and yours. The law of God had condemned me. I had sinned in so many ways against God, myself and my family. When the realisation of the fact that Christ had paid the debt of sin by dying on the cross for me became a reality and I was able to ask forgiveness and receive Jesus Christ into my life. Something happened that would have an effect on my life still 20 years later. When I asked my daughter what it was that made me her role model. Her words were. " Mommy, your faith in God. The fact that you persevere no matter what happens." "Mom, she said, it is the fact that you love God". Marelize my daughter had noticed the Divine power of God at work in me. Believe me 25 years ago no one would have seen that. It was Christ who came and changed me. Oh how I praise Him for this. I daily desire God's working and cleansing in my life. I desire that my children too would know the power of salvation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have had the privilege as mother to lead them both to the Lord. We dear friends need not be ashamed of the Gospel. It is God's power unto salvation to them that believe. Have your children seen the Divine power of God at work in your life? When they look at you are you showing them towards God. Unless a man be born again, born of the Spirit of God, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. It is a prerequisite that, God's Divine power needs to change you and the Spirit of God enter you before you can enter into the Kingdom of God. Seek Him and you will find Him, when you seek Him with all your heart. Many blessings this week for you all.
