How to share Christ with your neighbour

The very first thing I had to remember that it is not me that is winning souls for Jesus but the Lord bringing in souls that belong to Him. It is He who saves and convicts. It is He who changes a life from darkness into light. I just have to make myself available to HIM.

PRAYER
Pray before you go out to share Christ.
Spend time in the presence of God. You need to be a clean vessel through which the Spirit of God can flow.
You need His wisdom and His words in your mouth. Memorize these scripture prayerfully.
Ask the Father to open the door so that He will lead the conversation to GOD.
Do not force yourself on anybody but wait patiently for the right moment.

God's plan
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God has a problem in that He loves man so much and desires to be in a relationship with man. However ... Sin is in the way.

Man's problem
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Man is sinful and although he tries through good works to reach God it is impossible because his good works fall short of the glory of God. Also Man is sinful from birth, we are born with our backs towards God. The Law of God reveals to us that we have sinned against God in word and deed. Man has a problem in that His sin has made a separation between him and God.
1John 1 :9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

God's bridge of love
1 Peter 2:24 He personally carried the load of our sins in his body when he died on the cross. God sends his Son the Lord Jesus Christ to die on the cross. When he died on the cross and rose from the grave, he paid the full penalty for sin. Sin = Death. Jesus died so that he could make a way open for us to GOD. GRACE = God's Riches At Christ's Expense.

To receive Christ or reject HIM
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name....

Man with his sin and guilt and lack of direction in his life is separated from God. Christ Jesus is the only way to God by receiving him. Receiving His forgiveness and eternal life.

The bible says Proverbs 28:13 "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy."

You need to admit to God that you are lost and a sinner.
You need to repent from the way you have been living and turn a 360 degree turn from your old way of life .
You need to believe that when Christ Jesus went to the cross that He died for you on that cross so that He could set you free from condemnation of the law that says whosoever sins deserves death.
You need to receive through prayer and faith, Jesus into your heart and life.

Revelation 3:20 Behold I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in.....

Romans 10:13 Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus will be saved.
John 10:9 Jesus said, "I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved.

Tell your neighbour about assurance of salvation.

You cannot confirm to your neighbour that He is a child of God, this is the work of the Holy Spirit. These things write I unto you that you may know that you have eternal life. The knowledge God gives in a heart is not man made knowledge but a confirmation that nothing will ever again separate you from the LOVE of GOD.

1 John 5:12,13
Whoever has God's Son has life... I have written this to you that you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you already have eternal life.

Acts 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God and men.

Tell you neighbour to seek God's face till He has assurance of Faith. Until God himself witnesses in His heart that he is a child of God.

You neighbour should follow these steps.
1. He should tell someone what Christ has done for him.
2. He has to study God's word and get to KNOW his God through scripture.
3. He should seek our Fathers presence every day.
4. He should seek to have fellowship with God's children.
5. 1 John 1 :7 "But as we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Pray today that God will give you the right moment to share the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour with your Neighbour, friend or relative.
